Futures can move fast, and leverage works both ways

A single E-mini S&P 500 contract controls roughly fifty times the index value. A move that looks small on a chart can be hundreds or thousands of dollars per contract, and losses can exceed the money in your account.

Common questions

Does FuturesSignal sell trading signals?

No. Despite the name, FuturesSignal is an education site. We explain how markets and trading methods work, including how to judge anyone who does sell signals. We don't tell anyone what to buy or sell.

Is futures trading right for beginners?

Futures are leveraged, and losses can exceed your deposit, so they carry more risk than buying stocks. Many people start by learning the mechanics, using micro contracts in a simulated account, and setting firm risk limits before trading real money.

What are micro futures?

Micro contracts are smaller versions of popular futures, often one-tenth the size of the standard E-mini contract. They let newer traders learn with smaller dollar swings, but they're still leveraged. Learn more.

Are the calculators free?

Yes. Every tool on FuturesSignal is free, needs no account, and runs in your browser. We don't collect what you enter.
